Renée Morloc had her successful opera début at Nationaltheater Mannheim as Erda/Siegfried, followed by Fricka/Walküre, Ulrica/Ballo and Zia Principessa/Suor Angelica in the same season.

1992 she became member of Staatsoper Hannover with the new production-roles Amme/Frau ohne Schatten, Kabanicha/Katja Kabanova , Herodias/Salomé,Waltraute /Götterdämmerung, Carmen, Klytämnestra/Elektra, Amneris/Aida , Aucena/Trovatore and

Ulrica/Ballo.

Since 1996 the dramatic alto is member of the Deutsche Oper am Rhein Düsseldorf and is singing now nearly all important dramatic roles in the alto-repertoire -included rholes like Quickly, Brangäne, Geneviève, Jezibaba, Kabanicha and a nomber of contemporary operas.

 

In her début in Salzburg festival she was Larina/Onegin in the remarkableproduction of Daniel Barenboim and Andrea Breth in 2007.

 

In the season 2010/11 Renée Morloc was Kabanicha /Katja Kabanova in La Monnaie (new production Hussain/Breth), Klytämnestra / Elektra in Maifestspiele Wiesbaden (new production Piollet / Rebecca Horn), Zia Principessa / Zita / Trittico , Auntie, Herodias, Quickly and Fricka (Walküre) in Düsseldorf.

The concerts in 2010-11 she performanced with Lorin Maazel / Mahler Achte Symphonie (Duisburg), Gustav Kuhn / Verdi Requiem (Erl), Hellmut Rilling / Elias in Rheingau Musicfestival) and the CD-Production „Lied von der Erde“ (Albrecht, Oehms Classic), followed by Mahler Achte Symphonie with Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra in Petersburg.

2011/12 a new Rusalka in Montpellier(Foster / Lucassen), where she sang Jezibaba, followed by Duchess of York / Richard III (Production Robert Carsen / Peskow) in Grand Theater Genève, Klytämnestra in the Elektra-Production of Peter Konwitschny in Stuttgart, Jezibaba in La Monnaie Brussels (Stefan Herheim / Adam Fischer), Fricka / Walküre and Herodias / Salome in Düsseldorf, the concerts „Dream of Gerontius“ in Frankfurt,

Hessischer Rundfunk, „Le roi David“ in Stuttgart, and recitals in Stuttgart, Verdi Requiem with Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra in Sofia.

 

Her second invitation to Salzburg Festival was in summer 2012 as Stolzius' Mutter /Die Soldaten (Ingo Metzmacher/Alvis Hermanis).

 

The next great success was her interpretation of Klytämnestra in Düsseldorf - Coproduction with Grand Theater Genève (Kober / Nel) - in September 2012. Her début in Lisboa/Fondation Gulbenkian was one of her special roles- as Quickly (production Cucchi, Foster).

2013/14 twelve different concerts of Verdi Requiem (Nürnberg symohony Orch.,Stuttgart philharmonic Orchestra and more....In Stuttgart Morloc sang Erda /Siegfried .In september 2014 the alto sang Klytämnestra in the new Elektra-produciton of Antwerpen (David Bösch/M.Jurowski).

 

January 2015 Renée Morloc has her début at Teatro alla Scala di Milano as Stolzius'Mother /Die Soldaten.

 

In June 2015 Morloc ist fortune-teller in „Fiery Angel“ / Prokoffiew (Karaman/Kober) (Premiere Dusseldorf).

The singer performed her concerts with Orchestras like Petersburger Philharmoniker, Czech. Philharmonic Orchestra, Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra, Orquesta National de Espana Madrid, Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, Concertgebouw Orchestra Amsterdam, Bayerischer Rundfunk, Berliner Symphoniker, Orquesta Sinfónica Juvenil de Venezuela, Charlotte Symphony Orchestra - conducted by

Daniel Barenboim, Ingo Metzmacher, Adam Fischer, Zdenek Macal, Ulf Schirmer, Lorin Maazel, Christian Thielemann, Lothar Zagrosek, Edo de Waart, Gary Bertini, Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos.

 

Renée Morloc took part in a great number of broadcasted concerts and operas.
